Description

DMA Channel 0 Transmit Descriptor Ring Length Register

Fields

TDRL

Transmit Descriptor Ring Length This field sets the maximum number of Tx descriptors in the circular descriptor ring. The maximum number of descriptors is limited to 1KB descriptors. It is recommended a minimum ring descriptor length of 4. For example, any value up to 0x3FF can be programmed in this field. If 0x3FF is programmed, the descriptors are 1024. If 10 descriptors are needed, program it to a value of 0x9.
